I am brand new to the list and hope that some kind person will be able to
help me. My husband's ancestor, Timothy Henley, is listed on the 1900 census
at House No. 4 on Water Street as Timothy Hanley. In order to do further
research in Ireland, I need to know if this was how he spelled his name or
simply an error on the part of the census taker. Therefore, I am hoping
someone would be kind enough to check the City Directory and tell me what it
says: Henley or Hanley -- of course, I would also like to know what else it
says. <grin> Many thanks in advance.
