A deed dated 14 Feb 1794, Lyme Land Records 20:355, names children of
Jonathan and Hannah (-----) WADE, including son Josiah "of Litchfield."
Jonathan was b. 15 Feb 1720/1, Lyme (Land Records 7:85), son of John and
Mercy (PEMBER) WADE. His parents were married 8 Jan 1707, New London
(Vital Records 1:33). John was named on 25 June 1722 in the will of his
father John WADE, who m.(1) bef. 20 Aug 1691, Elizabeth DURANT, dau. of
George. I have no information on the spouse of Josiah, nor did I know
the maiden name of his mother, which you give as RANSOM.
