Looking for the birth records for ALFRED A. DAVIS possibly born 1803 in
Griswold, New London Co.,CT and his wife, SALLY WHIPPLE born about 1805.
They were married 5/9/1824 in Griswold, CT by Nathan Stanton, J.P.of Griswold.
Children: NELSON born about 1826 married MATHILDA CARPENTER, WEALTHY born
about 1830, HARRIET born 8/11/1831 married BENJAMIN JOHNSON, SALLY A. born
about 1833 married ELISHA FISH, PHINEAS born about 1840 married SARAH BISHOP
LAMPHERE, ALFRED A. born 5/15/1842 married EUNICE YOUNG, LYDIA born about
1844 married SIMON BROWN, ZACHARY T. born in 1848 married MATHILDA BOISVERT.
This family lived in New London County mostly in the towns of Preston/Griswold,
Voluntown, Taftville, Mystic Village, Glasgo, Sterling and Montville.
I'm interested in any information at all about this family.
