Darlina, You probably descend from either the Walter Palmer family of
Stonington, or the Nicholas Palmer family of Windsor [not related]. I know
that the Walter Palmer Soc. planned to put out a new book, but I don't know
if it has been completed. There is no book on the Nicholas Palmer family.
You might look at the Barbour Collection of CT town records, an older book
on Walter Palmer, or the town histories. Dennis p.s. I descend from both.

Hannah Palmer, married 18,Aug.1745 to Andrew Eliot, died 21,
May 1766 in Voluntown,Ct. Had 11 children. Anything on the
Palmer name in Voluntown, or Preston, Ct.
