Hi:

I am researching 4 generations that lived in New London, CT. Three of which
I believe was also born in New London. My grandfather Walter N. Horton
married Marion Remington Gibney who's father was William Gibney and was
either an asst. mayor of New London back in the late 1800s early 1900s or
some other type of politician. He son Garfield Gibney was asst. mayor. I
think that may be William Garfield Gibney.

I am hoping that someone may have more information on the Horton family who
lived on Main St. in the 1880s They lived next door to Martin Sauer and his
daughter and son in law. I believe that it is possible that Ellsworths wife
was also Martins daughter or maybe grand daughter.
