Hi Pat, Paul, and whoever else may be interested,

I thought the names David Chapman and Patience Rouse looked familiar. As it
turns out, they're my 7th g-grandparents. This is an ahnentafel of David
Chapman's ancestry (lengthy, but hopefully of help -- sources are listed at
the very end). I have extensive notes (and some wills) on many of these
Chapmans

Subject: [CTNEWLON-L] Chapman + Look-Up Volunteers

Hi, Everyone,

Sorry to have kept such a low profile lately. My work schedule has had me
occupied 14 hours a day, seven days a week, but I think I'm beginning to
catch up on the New London County CTGenWeb site.

I just got this message from a Chapman researcher, and thought I'd pass it
along in case someone can help him. Also, if you have volunteered in the
past to do look-ups, you might want to check the page for look-up volunteers
and make sure your current e-mail address is listed.

Pat, I tried to contact Nancy Smit, . could not
connect. She said that she has much Chapman information and is willing to
share. How can I contact her? David Chapman b. 3 Apr 1719 supposedly is
buried in a Ledyard cemetery. He was married to Patience Rouse. My records
and research indicates that he was also married to Abigail Willett. I would
like to compare notes with someone researching the Chapman line in your
area.
