Looking for the birth records for ALFRED A. DAVIS possibly born 1803 in
Griswold, New London Co.,CT and his wife, SALLY WHIPPLE born about 1805.
They were married 5/9/1824 in Griswold, CT by Nathan Stanton, J.P.of
Griswold.
Children:
NELSON born about 1826 married MATHILDA CARPENTER,
WEALTHY born about 1830,
HARRIET born 8/11/1831 married BENJAMIN JOHNSON,
SALLY A. born
about 1833 married ELISHA FISH,
PHINEAS born about 1840 married SARAH BISHOP LAMPHERE,
ALFRED A. born 5/15/1842 married EUNICE YOUNG,
LYDIA born about 1844 married SIMON BROWN,
ZACHARY T. born in 1848 married MATHILDA BOISVERT.
This family lived in New London & Windham Counties, mostly in the towns of
Preston/Griswold,
Voluntown, Taftville, Mystic Village, Glasgo, Sterling and Montville.
I'm interested in any information at all about this family.
