Hi

I have found an entry for Gr Gr Grand Uncle in the city directory for Hartford
(years 1861 - 1862). His name was John Loveland and he was a barber. His
address was listed as

619 1/2 Main, h. 1 Avon St.

Would this mean 619 1/2 Main was his business address and 1 Avon St was his home
address?

I'm assuming the "h." means home. What's confusing is the two addresses are
almost 7 miles away from each other.
