Searching for info on RICHARDS, George (son of RICHARDS, John & PRENTICE, Martha)

birth record: b. 1781 New London, CT
marriage record: m. b/n 1800-1807

Death record for PRENTICE, Thomas b. @1725 d. ?

Perhaps someone would be kind enough to look in the "Barbour Collection Connecticut Vital Records Prior to 1850, Town of New London, Births-Marriages-Deaths" for me?

Also, I am trying to obtain probate records for John RICHARDS in New London. The records were listed as #'s 4394 & 4380 on the index cards at teh CT State Library, however the county did not record them this way. As I am out of state, I am looking for someone to help me obtain these and some other records. Does anyone know of anyone whom I may contact about getting these records from Hartford? Apparently, they must be requested in person.
