Am in need of help in finding the parents of George W WILCOX b. 1833
Griswold, CT according to the 1865 state census, Wareham, Plymouth Co.,
MA where he is listed as age 32, b. Griswold.
Unable to find a birth or baptism record, but did find on the WILCOX
family genealogy forum where a George W WILCOX was b. in 1833 in
Preston, CT son of Stephen WILCOX Jr and wife Amy B COOK.
Would like very much to connect with someone familiar with the WILCOX
families in Preston and or Griswold.
Would appreciate any advice as to where I might find births for Griswold
and or Preston for that time frame and or church records.
