Greetings!

I'm new to the list - and searching for any information you might have on Mr James Taylor who died in 1754.

A slate gravestone was recently uncovered here in Hampden County and the only James Taylor / 1754 we turned up at WorldConnect was born in Andover MA in 1683 and died in Preston CT, November 2 1754.

It's in the hands of the town historian and we are curious to find out if a slate headstone exists in or around Preston which matches this apparent footstone.
