There is a book that lists all the soldier of the independence war, grouped
by first letter of the surname, but not really alpahbetically, and gives the
name of the parents, the date he went into the army and the file number
where his files are in the Archivo Nacional de Cuba. I can't remember the
very long name of the book, but I know that the library where I work has a
copy in film. I do research for a living.
