To all of you that posted a reply to my initial post--a great big thank you!!
Several of you asked for my surnames there--as far as I know, ESNARD and
BARBOT. They had many plantations, for which I have the names; but the names
are French and I believe they were in Saint Domingue. St. Isabel is the only
name I have for Cuba.

How hard is it going to be to get any records from Cuba--they were there in
the mid 1800's? Who has the records--Cuba or Spain or ??

Thanks for your patience with a newbie to Cuban research.
