Hi Pat
Only to tell you that about 200 years ago a lot of French families , came
to Santiago de Cuba from Haiti when was a colony , after the war , looking
for assilum.
Paradox because today is the cubans who ask for assilum.
For this reason a lot of cubans in special from Santiago have French
surnames,
In my family exist for example , Merle , Delone , Vernier , and others.
