I have been lurking on this list for a while now, and thought I would throw
out the name I am searching for in Cuba. In particular, I am seeking info or
descendants of the line of Juan Matias Chartrand, of Matanzas. He had seven
children: (not in order)Esteban, Philippe, Polyhymnia Christina, Luisa,
Augustus, Jeannette and John Louis. Some of these names are anglicized and
may be incorrect as they were in Cuba--I do not know all the details yet.

In particular, there is a person living in Havana named Carlos Chartrand
Sanchez, that I would like to correspond with soon. If any of you know him,
please pass on my name as I would be very interested in exchanging familial
information.

I understand that Philippe and Esteban married into the family of Jose Maria
Galvez. I don't know much more of the other siblings.

I appreciate any help.
