Hilda, you've made my day ... even though it's not my information! I LOVE
it when this happens! What a way to welcome Monday! And would you believe
it, I almost didn't send the entry because it had MARIA in front of
CANDELARIA and you had requested only Candelaria.
Get in touch with Mayra Sanchez Johnson, founder and president of the Cuban
Genealogical Society, and give her the reference number at the bottom of the
entry I've given you. She'll be able to provide you with the notes they
took when they transcribed the information for publication. Also, contact
the Church of Latter Day Saints (LDS) Family Center to get the information
from them, as I believe they're transcribing Cuban parrish records as well.
All the contact information you need is in the CubaGenWeb. If you send a
note to the attention of Mayra at CUBA-L, I'm sure she'll respond. Just put
MAYRA in the subject line, so she'll see it's for her.
In the meantime, I'd be happy to fax or mail the page with the entry, if
you'd like to share with me your personal contact information.
Congratulations! Let me know if there's anything else I can look up for you
and be sure to let me know what you find once you get the actual record.
