Well that is what I have also, Sabanilla del Encomendador, for this Antonio
Hernández that was found. Also the parents.....if you could look and see
they were called Jose Francisco Hernández and Josefa Maria

They were or resided in SABANILLA DEL ENCOMENDADOR -- this municipio is now
known as Juan Guablebrto Gómez, depending of the parish of Limonar.
Sabanilla was founded around 1747 as a hamlet of about 32 homesteads with
148
inhabitants. In 1818 it had a small church depending from Limonar Parish
Church.

My great-great-great- grand parents lived there:
(1) RAMON QUEVEDO -------- who in some records I got appears as born --
"natural"-- from Sabanilla; born probably between 1790 and 1810. no more
data.

married to around 1820
(1) ROSARIO PEREZ, born probably around 1795 or later.

They had a son
(2) MANUEL QUEVEDO PEREZ, born also in Sabanilla around 1824, as he died en
1893

married before, or early in 1850 (their first child was born in 1850) to
(2) DOLORES QUEVEDO, born around 1824 to 1830

If she was from Sabanilla, she most probably married there or in Limonar
Parish church. Some records, on the contrary, say that she was from
Alacranes, also in Matanzas, but I don't know if your notebook have records
from this place.

Their daughter
(3) ROSA ELODIA QUEVEDO Y QUEVEDO, was born in Matanzas in 1854.
Between 1873 and 1874 she married
(3) MARTIN BONILLA DELGADO, born in Cifuentes, Las Villas
(by the way their second son (4) ARTURO BONILLA QUEVEDO was born in Matanzas
in 1877)

Other children of Manuel and Dolores were:
(3) ADELAIDA QUEVEDO Y QUEVEDO, born in Matanzas in 1850
(3) MANUEL QUEVEDO Y QUEVEDO, born in Matanzas in 1851
