I'd like to say that I suppose being liberal as I am, (still single as well)
have always thought that I would never change my name in the "name" of
marriage.... I was born with this name & think I should die with it! (God, I
hope that doesn't come off morbidly) My children would of course carry their
father's surname but maybe I'll give them my surname as their "middle"
name... What do you all think of that?

In the end though I realize, it's all so ironic anyway because obviously my
name, (the one I would never give up), is my father's, not my mothers;(
