Dear co-listers:
In reference to Library of Congress, I also want to say the following:
1) You can search the online catalog and find the book or other materials
you need. I have found several old books about Cuba and particularly about
Bayamo.
2) If the book is not protected by copyright, i.e. very old or never
protected, you can request to the Photoduplication Service a black and white
photocopy, previous payment with credit card. It is not so expensive, and I
bought a couple of books about Bayamo, which I received by FedEx, here in
Argentina. Unfortunately after the devaluation of Argentine peso, it has
been very difficult for me to acces to this excellent service.
3) You can use the option "Ask to a Librarian" for any consultation about
services, fees, etc.
The site is www.loc.gov
Best regards
