My second cousing Melli (first cousin to my mother) was married to Jose
Blanco. He passed away in the early 80s of a heart attack. He was in his
mid 40s. He had no family in the US that I knew of. I know he still has
family back in Pinal del Rio. I'll run this e-mail by my third cousing
(Melli's daughter & see if this catches her attention.) She was in her
early teens when her father passed away. What I can tell you of Jose
Blanco was that he was a lovely man, with gentle features, very fair skin
and sandy hair. Melli's first cousin still travels to Cuba on a regular
basis and I believe he still visits the Blanco family.
