Hi, all,

I just received copies of a court case for one of my ancestors from the
Archive in Galicia. It states that one of my ancestors was "gobernador y capitan
general de la habana de la isla de Cuba". His name was Pedro Alvarez de
Villarin. The time frame is sometime in the late 1600s or early 1700s.

Does anyone know where I can get additional information on the men who were
governors of Cuba? It could be a specific book or a location on the Internet.
