Dear Ida, bless you.Your family history sounds fascinating to me.Wouldn't
that be something special if indeed the Indian tribe did take on the name of
Tapanes? We never know what we may find out when we get involved doing family
research.I hope you can make connections with others who are researching the same
names. I am on another genealogy list and I think ( I am waiting for a
response ) I have just connected with a distant cousin.We have just found a
connection with one name, and she is checking to see how her family ties in with mine.
So, I know how you feel when you make those family connections.I enjoy being
on this list.So many kind and helpful people. I just thought I would make a
