God bless you too Diane!!! I got Jose Julian Marti birth certificate in the
mail today! (God works in misterious ways).

He is not my ancestor, but it was in the same church index as my ancestor
was.

Volume 28, Folio 61, Number 159.
Jose Julian Marti was baptized on February 12, 1853, in the Santo Angel
Custodio Catholic Church in Havana, Cuba, he was born on a Monday, January 28,
1853, son of Don Mariano Marti (he was a Sargeant) from Valencia Spain, and Dña.
Leonor Perez native of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Island, His paternal
grandparents were Don Vicente Marti and Dña. Manuela Navarro; maternal
grandparents Don Antonio Perez and Dña. Rita Cabrera. God parents Don Jose Maria Vazquez
and Dña. Marcelina Aguirre.

So if you have Maceo's ancestors maybe you can see if they had an ancestor in
common. Could it be the Cabrera line?
