Hello all,
The Cuban Genealogy Club of Miami, FL, has been transcribing lists of people
buried in the Espada Cemetery, located in Havana, which was closed in the
latter part of the 1800s. We are proud to announce that we have started to
upload some of the surnames. Those names starting with B and O are available
for research to the general public. As we get the other letters uploaded, we
will send an update via the CUBA-L.
Please take a minute to search through the database; you never know what
you'll find! We would also greatly appreciate it if you would let us know if
you have any luck in finding an ancestor.
We would also like to thank the volunteers who have helped with the Espada
Project!
Happy Hunting!
