Hello Rosemary,

My direct line to the MARSHES in Wayne Co., KY was about 1810-1820.
There were some Marshes there later on in 1840- that I believe are linked
to my line, but I have never been able to connect them. Roswell Marsh was
born about 1810 in AL and he married Lavina UPCHURCH around 1832. Roswell
had a brother named David MARSH living in Wayne County at the time. I have,
for a long time now, wanted to know who Roswell and David's parents were.
It is my guess that they belong to Thomas MARSH and Rachael Summers MARSH
who were married in Surry County NC on Sep 1 1794. They lived down in
Marshall Co., AL.

I would appreciate you telling me what you know of the MARSH family there
in Wayne Co., KY. Your help is greatly appreciated,
