LIFE SENTENCE

In the Knox Circuit Court Allen Gambrel, Charged with the Killing of John
Gambrel was convicted, receiving sentence to the penitentiary for the
remainder of his life. The case was on trial for over one week.

At a Formal trial Gambrel received a life sentence on the same charge,
But an appeal being taken, the case was reversed. A jury from Laurel County
tried the case.
John Gambrel was killed in the Stinking Creek section of Knox County
two years ago
