KILLED IN MINES
Lloyd Kinder, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jake Kinder, of Cannon, was killed by
falling slate in the mines of the Continental Coal corporation at R-Jay
Tuesday afternoon. He will be buried at Trace Branch today. He leaves a
wife and two small children.
CHILD DIES FROM BURNS
Monday evening about Six o Clock, Little Charlie, three and a half year old
son of Mr. and Mrs. S.B. Hopper was so horribly burned by his cloths
catching fire, that he died Tuesday evening.
The funeral was conducted by Rev. A.C. Hutson Wednesday afternoon at the
home.
Burial was at the City Cemetery .
