You have lost me on that one. They have been reporting for the last several days that one of the top priorities is to get humanitarian efforts going again to get food into Iraq. It was reported yesterday that the Iraqis in Bazra generally are NOT appreciating the handouts from the Americans. The oil for food program was a program run by the UN before all this came about. It was also reported that Saddam Hussein had been diverting the funds for this program into his various building projects. This is simply reinstituting a pre-existing program that was brought to a standstill when the fighting began.
