Subject: [CUL] Accident at Carlisle Station

My GGrandfather George Moffat b.1860 was killed in a fall from the roof of Carlisle Station whilst working.He died on the 15th August 1897 at the Cumberland Infirmary.
Can anyone tell me if this would be likely to get a mention in the local newspaper and if so which newspaper would that have been in 1897.
