Hi Marjorie,
If you get the actual marriage certificate for the second entry you will get
more information, ie: names of fathers and occupations, place of abode etc.
You will not get father's occupation from the PRs.
You will not get any more information from the PRs for the first one, the
christening, but you might be able to trace parents, siblings etc., that
would certainly be worth doing. It would also be worth it for the second
one as well, as again you might find siblings, children etc.
