Dear Teresa:

Yes, there ARE archives for the CURRY Surname list. This is a good
idea for anyone new to the list to have. [Listmembers! Save a copy
of this for future reference.] I've never done it, but I hear that
it IS possible to retrieve them. Below is a couple of posts that I
saved from the listowner discussion list that may help you.You may
have to substitute the name CURRY for OLIVER as in the example, but
I think you'll get the genteral idea. I understand that Larry
transferred all the archives over from MAISER as well. Good luck!!

Looking at the dates of the digest, you determine that you
want messages 8 through 16 (June 5 through June 19). The file
name is the last entry on each line.

Send another message to
Put "archive" in the subject
Put "get volume97/8 volume97/9 volume97/1?" in the body

where "?" is a UNIX wild-card meaning "any character";
"1?" will expand to 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19.

You should get back all of those files as individual messages.

For other surnames, substitute the one you want for "OLIVER".

To obtain ALL Archives:

Just have them send a message to your

with subject "archive"
and in the body
get volume97/*

if they prefer to get all the individual messages instead of
the digests, send the message to
with subject "archive"
and in the body
get latest/*

"*" is a UNIX wildcard that means "match all files"
