Hi all,
Well, I answered my own question about Currys in the Bahamas by cruising
around the Internet a little. It would appear that all of these Currys came
from Ireland - not the US. I checked the Monroe Co., FL genweb and found
that there were several Curry/Weatherford marriages in one person's line, but
these were Curry men marrying Weatherford women, and the names of these women
weren't known except that one was Rachel. I'm sending what I found about the
Currys in the Bahamas below.

To Benjamin Curry, his heirs and assigns Lot N127.
To Richard Curry, his heirs and assigns Lot N128.
To Rachel Curry, her heirs and assigns Lot N138. (would imagine this was
Rachel Weatherford)
Given under the Great Seal of our said island, our right trusty and right
well beloved cousin(?), John, Earl of Dunmore, Viscount Tencastle, Barron
Murry(?) of Blair Mouslin(?) and Tellemet(?), our Lieutenant and Governor
General of our said islands at Nassau in the island of New Providence the
fifth day of October in the year of Lord one thousand seven hundred and
ninety one and in the thirty first year of our Royal (?) the (?) office.
