Subject: [CURRY] William(Willie) and Margert Ellen Feese Curry
Date: Mon, 18 Mar 2002 23:46:38 -0600
My grandfather gave me the name of Ellen Feese as a grandmother. As it turns
out she was a great grandmother. He said that she an her husband had came to
this country. He also said that her husbands name was Willie and not William
Curry, He told me this in the early 70's an was in his 90's but had a very
good mind.He also said that they were from Sweden an not Scotland or
Ireland. The name Margret came I believe from a bible in Adair County Ky.
William (Willie) an Margret Ellen Feese Curry, were the Parents of William
Curry, born Sept.03,1811,in Kentucky. I have no siblings for him. This William
Curry married Malinda Pendleton,July 24, 1832 in Adair Co. Ky.
I am quite sure that William (Willie)an Margret Ellen Feese had more
Children than William as all the Currys had big familys. With the names of
John Robert, Samuel Jackson,Isaac, and William passed down for the sons.the
Girls names that were passed down were Elizabeth Ann, Sarah M.and Mary Jane.
My guess would be that William(Willie)Curry and Margret Ellen Feese was born
between 1775 and 1790.Depending how many children they had or didn't have
before William.
If anyone has information on these two people I would love to here from you.
