I have a Flora Curry, b. abt 1800 married David Campbell from SC, in 1834 in Lowndes Co. AL. According to the 1850 Butler Co. census, she was born in NC, but there is a daughter on the census born in SC. She was his 2nd marriage so I am not sure if the daughter is hers from a previous marriage, or theirs together. The daughter, Lucinda, is just listed as Campbell. I can't find any other Curry's in neighboring counties before their marriage so I don't believe she lived there. Have you run across this name before?
