Ruth Curtis was born in Ontario, Canada on 7 January 1800. She married
James Lewis Bliss who was born in New York. They lived in North East,
Erie Co., PA with their children William Gray Bliss, Susannah B.,
Lucinda, Sophronia, Abby H., Mary T., Laura C., John Chandler, James A.
and Marania E.

James Lewis Bliss was a shoemaker. Lucinda, the daughter of James and
Ruth Curtis, married a tanner. Is it possible that the father of Ruth
Curtis was a tanner also?

Any help with my search would be appreciated.
