I didn't catch the original message; but, I know that Joel D. Kelly, born
in McNairy County, Tn. was born to Benjamin Curtis m: Sarah. He was
brother to Benjamin F. Curtis, Solomon Curtis, Jane Curtis, Malinda
Curtis and Arabella Curtis.
We have Joel D. Curtis b: 1831 married: Margaret Jewell, having 10
children..
If any of this information checks for you, there is a file on the
Decendents of Benjamin Curtis and there is a gentleman in Oklahoma that
is decended from this line and has been researching it for a number of
years..

Oh, I just re-read your messages, , Juanita Curtis Smith has Helena S.
Curtis was living with her parents in Franklin County, Ark. in 1880 and
her last name was Combs. There is no record of her marriage, in Johnson
County. I have all her brothers and sisters listed as well as their
birthdates..
