Genealogy of a Truman Curtis appears in "Richard Curtice, Master Mariner: A
Genealogy of Richard Curtice of Salem, Massachusetts and Southold, Long
Island, whose Father appears to have been the Master Mariner", compiled by
Harlow Dunham Curtis. Book is available from the Curtis/Curtice Society.

This Truman Curtis' line is Truman8, Jeremiah7, Jonathan6, Jeremiah5, Caleb4,
Samuel3, Caleb2, Richard. Jeremiah7 & his wife, Mercy Ewell Curtis, both died
in Shelby, Macomb County, MI.

Truman8, son of Jeremiah7 Curtis & Mercy Ewell, dau of James & Sarah
(Holbrook) Ewell, was b. 12 Feb 1822 in NY, d. 10 June 1883 at Pontiac,
Oakland Co. MI.

"Richard Curtice, Master Mariner" lists 2, possibly 3, marriages for Truman8,
and 3 children: Ina, m. Willard E. Chandler & removed to Carbondale IL;
Kenzie P, d. unm 1887, age 23; and Luna, m. Frank Church & removed to Los
Angeles CA. [no sons].

This Truman8 had 11 siblings, all identified in "Richard Curtice, Master
Mariner".
