Nanny,
I am trying to determine the ancestry of your Richard Curtis since I believe
he was related to my John Solomon Curtis b. 1797 Buncombe County, NC and died
1860 Winston County, AL.

I researching your Richard Curtis I have learned a lot about the Primitive or
Separate Baptists. I have seen his ancestry two different ways on websites.
At one website I have seen Richard's grandfather (father of the Richard
Curtis b. about 1700 in Prince George County, VA?) as a William Curtis b.
about 1670 and lived in Dinwiddie County, VA (formed from Prince George
County in 1652). At the LDS site I have seen Richard's father as another
Richard Curtis b. 1666 and lived in Christs Church, York County, VA. I am
wondering if you have any further information which would clarify this?
