Hi,

I am trying to trace ancestors of my Curtis line.

grandmother Edith Mary Curtis born 1901 possibly in Bedminster Bristol. - married Ernest Walter John Bishop. lived at The Lilacks, Burton Row Brent Knoll (South Brent) Somerset.

The Bishop family liived in the Lilacks for a couple of hundred years..........Annie & Walter Bishop g.grandparents - Betsy and John Bishop g.g.

Great Grandparents on the Curtis side: William Curtis, born possibly Sherborne or Pool area of dorset, had a sister Ellen? and Brother possibly Henry. Both sons attended private schooling in dorset?

William Curtis married Catherine Elizabeth Bridle approximately 1890 apparently in Sherborne Abbey on Christmas Day. Catherine was born 1870 died 1958 William was born around 1870 died 1970 aged 100, in Wells or Wedmore Somerset.

William Curtis lived in Middle Street Farm, East Brent and was an agricultural labourer, although his last occupation was in a Cheese factory in Rooksbridge??

Recognise any of this??
