I have a distant ancestor named Daniel Kinzie Curtis who was born in Ireland (I believe) in 1843. He married a Bridget Downes and lived in Chicago. I don't know if he had any brothers or sisters. He died Feb 12, 1885 in an accident at City Gas Company in Chicago. He is buried in Calvary Cemetery in Evanston, IL. He and Bridget had 5 daughters.
Julia married John G. Daly
Mary married Cloyd Rockwell
Margaret married Joseph Mullin
Elizabeth died in infancy
Rosemary married Charles Mullin
