Further to my question about why I have birth entries in my Master Index (Version 2.3.9a) without forenames, following Ian's question, I now find that post 1911 birth entries, which I have just started to input, although complete with maiden names showing correctly in the Civil Register, do not include maiden names in the Master Index. These are shown as separate entries, preceding all birth entries with forenames. Is this what I should expect to see, if not what do I do to correct it?

Does the answer lie in the query box for the Master Index? At present for me it shows,

ORDER BY Surname, Forename, Familyref, Personalref, year

Should I add 'Maidenname' ?

Grateful for your advice and guidance. I have sent this to the list in case others have a similar problem.
