Further to my comments some time ago I have come across a bug/feature. In
the pictures screen, if you click on an image. The window opens with the
image in. If you then click open then cancel, the image disappears.

I was asked a question about the interface guidelines I quoted in my last
e-mail, I attach part of an article from the MSDN website.

"Most first-class applications for the Microsoft Windows operating system
share a familiar and consistent user interface. This improves the usability
of the application because the user is not forced to relearn common
operations. For example, a user who regularly prints documents from
Microsoft Word intuitively looks for a Print option on the File menu when
confronted with the task of printing in an unfamiliar application."

As they go on to say the user interface guidelines are available from
Microsoft Press.

Best regards

John
