There was nothing wrong with the unlock key - I was entering the 'Registered
Name' incorrectly.

Please accept my apologies for time-wasting, but many thanks to those kind
people who offered help.

Regarding my second query
< Newbie - Help PLEASE!
After using 'Restore' the desktop icon and the exe file were definitely not
on my computer. Whether this loss was due to restoring or to problem that
made restoring necessary I have no idea.

Perhaps a software expert could comment. I'd love to be a software expert
myself - but how then would I find time for family history!
