Dear N!

Bilek belongs to the parish of SOPOTY.
Records can be found in the archives of ZAMRSK and begin in 1784. Before
Bilek belonged to the parish of CHOTEBOR, but records seem to be lost.

You can find the address of the archives on my site.
If you need professional help, please, let me know.

With best regards,

I am hoping someone can help me locate information on the below:
My grandfather, Frank Fiala (7-17-1881) came from Bilek 11, near the village
of
Chotebor(coordinates
4943-1540n) Cz Republic about 59.l miles ESE of Prague, in Oct. 1903. His
father was Joseph Fiala and mother Antonette Vajgertova. Antonete was from
Lazavy(Cz) and her parents were Matt Vajgert and Marie Spinarova. I have
been
unable to locate Lazavy.
Frank (7-17-1881 had brothers edward, Antonette and Francis. None
immigrated to
the U>S> other than my grandfather who came to South Dakota. I am wondering
where to locate church registers and any information on them, and
greatgrandparents. thanking you in advance. n. brady, south dakota
