I would like some advice on where to start looking for some info on a GGGrandmother whom I know nothing about other than than on the U.S. census it says she was born in Bohemia. Her name was Barbara Sellner ( I have also seen it spelled Saelner ) and she was born September 28, 1820. I have no idea if this was a maiden name or a married name. She had two daughters Katerine and Martha who are listed as being born in Bernstein, Germany. Would any of you more experienced genealogists have any suggestions where to start? Thank you.
