Ralph,
I can't thank you enough for the information you posted with regard to the
query I posted from Jay on the Webb genealogy list. He has posted several
things now that have incensed many, and is always challenging claims of
Native heritage by anyone, he has a tone to all his posts, that tho he may
not mean to, comes across as extremely derogatory. Rather than get in to a
shouting match I prefer to present facts, which is why I turn to you experts
out there. I thank you for the time you put into my request and for the
excellent information, that I will archive for my own pursuit of my
Heritage.
So to all of you, another question..one thing Jay stated recently is,
that if a person doesn't find a "supposed" relative on any rolls, then "she"
would be a fool to keep on looking, and to just give it up....
What is your collective opinion of this....esp. for those of us who are
hunting diligently for our Cherokee (or any other tribal heritage)
