.Pam wrote.... As for using pictures, I see no need to do that in
Clooz. What would the advantage be? Maybe for someone you think is your's
but then why would you need the picture?

Pam....one of the reasons I wanted to use Clooz was to catalog my huge
collection of photographs I have collected on ancestors and other related
people. Originally I started out making lists of them in my word
processor: photos of people, photos of tombstones, photos of places
associated with my ancestors. This worked well when I only had a few dozen
photos, but it became very difficult to find the photo I knew I had when my
collection grew to several hundred. I've used Clooz to list each photo and
link the individuals as appropriate, estimating ages, and recording any
pertinent information. I've also developed a system that works for me to
tell me where the original or the negative is filed. Now I can easily find
all the photos I have of my great grandmother, for instance. If I find a
new relative that doesn't have a photo of her, now I can quickly find it
and make a copy. I also like being able to bring up a report on Elizabeth
Royer Fritts, for instance, and see all the documents, census records, and
photos listed all together. I now know exactly what I have found for her
and where I filed it, including the photos. Takes some time to get to this
point, but it sure has been worth it for me!
