Betty,
I understand how it can feel overwhelming to think of entering 15 years
worth of documents into Clooz. I've only been researching for about 4
years and I feel overwhelmed. I just try to make a goal to enter 2 - 3
documents per day. Depending on the document it takes me 15 minutes to 2
hours. My biggest problem is remembering the system I decided on and
sticking to it. I finally decided to make note cards to reference when
entering a type of document I haven't entered for awhile. I have note
cards for entering census, documents and photographs. They remind me of
the numbering system I use for each, and also what information is entered
in the events field. I also try to enter similar documents for at least a
couple of days in a row. I get better and faster entering each document
and I'm finally getting used to the filing system I set up. I hope this
helps some.
