Hi everyone,
Anyone who is looking for Irish descendants in Scotland or elsewhere, and
can't seem to find them - Where are my Irish relatives? Did they seem to
disappear? I suggest visiting the following site. For 3 US dollars a full
head of household will be sent to you. The site is a paid site, but if you
scroll down the 1851 Irish Stray Census Index is for Free and can be
accessed by the click of your mouse!

Records Irish in UK Census of 1851
Should you be researching your ancestors who would have emigrated to
Britain, from anywhere in Ireland around the 1800-1850 period, then the
"Irish Strays in the UK Census of 1851" lists, is a must for you to search.
This database lists in the region of 70, 000 Irish people who were living
and working in Britain in 1851.
This Census is free to access and contains the following information. The
person's Surname, First name, Town of Domicile (abbreviated), and a
reference number. Complete families can be located by careful examination
of the reference numbers.
For a small fee, a complete listing of all persons in a household can be
obtained. Plus, address, ages, occupations and their relationship to the
'Head' of the house.
