That and the dollar being held down at a low by both governments, the
airlines silently raising prices ( if you haven't noticed) and the new
taxes on air travel make staying home much more valuable. My problem is
there isn't much affordable in the towns I need to research in. The
dollar to pound conversion wipes out my budget in 3 days. I need a
place that is about $25 to 30 per night with no single person surcharge.
I have to research in Dublin and Templemore as well as Kiltillane. I
have thought about camping out there in parks and campgrounds but worry
about the safety issue. Getting around is also hard since most of the
Irish rental agencies force you to take the extra insurance even if
yours covers you unless you have a platinum card. My name isn't Trump.
Can anyone help with these problems. Im willing to go in off season but
worry also weather anything will be open.?!!!
THX
